Amazon FBA
Amazon has a great service called FBA, or Fulfillment By Amazon. Basically this means that you have access to the world’s largest marketplace and most advanced fulfillment and product delivery system the world has ever seen, thanks to Amazon FBA.
With FBA you have the full power of Amazon behind you at a ridiculously low cost.
Here’s how it works…
First, you ship your books, media and other products to an Amazon fulfillment center. Upon arrival at an Amazon warehouse, your products are checked-in then immediately listed in the Amazon Marketplace. Your products are safely stored in a secure facility and available for purchase by Amazon’s massive customer base. When an order is placed for one of your products, Amazon processes the transaction, packs it, and ships it directly to the customer for you. In most cases your product will arrive at the customer’s doorstep in 2 days thanks to the free 2-day super shipping program Amazon offers it’s Prime customers. They even handle customer service!
From this point Amazon then deposits all money earned from the sale of your products directly into your bank account every 2 weeks!
Sounds simple right? Yes, it is! But it does take some work figuring out how to get that first shipment boxed up and sent in to Amazon FBA.
But eventually you begin to understand that you have an entire fulfillment center at your disposal and the entire process becomes easy!
The real trick is figuring out all the different things that you can sell as an Amazon FBA seller. It takes some time to learn how and where to source new products but it’s worth it once you get the hang of it. Thankfully there’s a lot of services available on the web to help new Amazon FBA sellers.
